A beautifully illustrated antique, vintage map from the year 1923, of an aerial and pictorial view of Fresno County and Mid-California's Garden of The Sun. This wonderfully nostalgic piece of history is from the Public Domain, created by Schmidt Litho. Co. Fresno County and published by Fresno County Chamber of Commerce. Surrounding the map, a series of detailed vignettes depict significant architecture, landmarks, attractions and scenes of agriculture in the area in the early 20th Century including Yosemite National Park, Mt.Whitney and Fresno Building. This reproduction map has been restored and color corrected.

I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. For me, half the challenge is in the initial taking of the photo, the looking for something that catches my attention, getting that perfect composition, but the other half is in the processing, the tweaking and twisting and the addition of a little imagination to see how much detail I can bring to the surface and hopefully let the viewer see the same as I did when I took the shot. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
