The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This is some old mercury mine equipment that has been happily spray painted by kids. I think this was part of an electric motor.

Born in Denmark in 1948. After years of traveling I came to America in time for the Bicentennial in 1976. The first ten years in Hawaii, before settling here. My photography centers on my love for the natural world and the beauty of The Central Coast.
